Commercial Loss claims in Southwest Ranches

Knowing your rights may be the difference between a claim paid and a claim denial.

What do you do when you know your property has been damaged but the insurance company adjuster "just doesn't see it"?

Commercial losses in Southwest Ranches can affect condominiums, business owners, commercial tenants, landlords and can encompass loss to structure, business location and business income. Business owners rely on the continuous operation of their business to keep their books solvent so it's important for a business to be up and running as soon as possible after a loss.

Sometimes the business needs to be relocated. The expense associated with moving and getting your business operating should be covered under your commercial policy. Income loss should also be covered under your policy. When this coverage begins and ends is defined by your policy.

Capital Public Adjusting will ensure that you are properly reimbursed for your business income loss. We will also provide experienced commercial Contractors to ensure your commercial building is rebuilt and upgraded to code, provided this coverage exists under your policy. We will personally handle your inventory loss. Our trained adjusters will tabulate all losses to inventory, merchandise, supplies, displays, containers, racks etc that have been affected by the loss and present all the relevant supporting documentation to the insurance carrier.

Condominium losses may involve the Condominium Associations Commercial Policy as well as Unit Owners Policies (now required under Florida State Law). The coverage demarcation for these policies is well defined under Florida State Law. Generally, the Association policy covers from the drywall into the interior walls, the exterior of the building (including windows, doors and original screen enclosures) and the common areas and the Unit Owners policy covers everything from the paint into the apartment.

Capital Public Adjusting can work with both the Unit Owners claim and the Associations claim. Handling both claims enables us to control what each insurance carrier pays, which is especially important in the event there is a dispute over coverage.
